Key definitions
- App or service: HO WA HI and its mobile and web platforms.
- We: the HO WA HI app.
- You or user: anyone who creates an account or uses the app.
- Partner: the person linked to your account with both parties’ consent.
- User content: any text, images, memories, or messages you enter.
- Artificial intelligence (AI): automatically generated responses or suggestions.

Eligibility and accounts
- The service is for adults (13+).
- Keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations or misuse.

Nature and limits of the service
- The app provides communication tools, quizzes, conversations between partners or with AI, reminders, a gift shop, mood tracking, daily tasks, additional features, and optional health features such as menstrual cycle tracking.
- It does not replace medical, psychological, religious, or legal advice or emergency services.

Pairing with your partner
- Information sharing between partners is optional and controlled through settings.
- Unpairing stops future sharing and does not require us to delete information your partner has saved locally.

Purchases and subscriptions
- Paid plans and additional features may be available and may renew automatically through app stores or payment providers.
- Cancellation and refunds are subject to platform policies and Saudi law, including the E-Commerce Law. Terms are shown clearly before payment.
- Prices or features may change with notice through the app.

Shop and shipping
- We may use external suppliers and carriers. Delivery times and policies are their responsibility.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of delivery addresses and contact details.

Content and conduct
- Abuse, harassment, hate speech, content contrary to applicable law or public morals, and violations of others’ privacy are prohibited.
- We may remove content that violates these terms and suspend the account.

Intellectual property
- All elements of the app are owned by us or licensed to us. Unauthorized copying, reverse engineering, and commercial use are prohibited.
- We grant you a limited license to use user content as necessary to operate features, including display, backup, and synchronization, according to your settings. We do not sell your content.

Third-party services
- Integrations, including payments, analytics, and notifications, are subject to their providers’ terms. We are not responsible for outages beyond our reasonable control.

Liability and warranty limitations
- The service is provided “as is” and subject to availability, without implied warranties.
- To the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability does not exceed the fees you paid during the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification
- You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or infringement of others’ rights.

Termination
- You may delete your account through settings. We may retain information required for legal or accounting purposes under the privacy policy.

Governing law and jurisdiction
- The laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia apply.
- Jurisdiction lies with the courts of Riyadh, or, if both parties agree in writing, arbitration through the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) in Riyadh.
